Lola Adekanye

Lola Adekanye is a licensed attorney in the State of New York and in Nigeria with a background in international development. Her expertise is in developing and implementing Corporate Ethics and Financial Regulatory Compliance systems and programs for companies in the global supply chain. As the Africa Representative to the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE) in Washington, D.C., she coordinates the initiatives and programs focused on promoting integrity and ethics in the private sector. Prior to joining CIPE, Ms. Adekanye worked as an integrity compliance consultant to the World Bank with oversight on cases in Africa.

She holds and LL. B from the University of Bedfordshire, and 2 LL.M degrees in International Economics and in Securities and Financial Regulations from the University of Warwick, and Georgetown University Law Center respectively, with a Fellowship at the Institute of International Economics. Ms. Adekanye is a regular contributor to compliance and ethics blogs and is the managing editor of the Corporate Ethics and Compliance Africa blog.
